Can clients fill in the intake before the appointment?
Yes. Attach the form to a service and it’s emailed with the booking. Clients fill it in and sign on their phone, Parlor emails a reminder the day before if it isn’t signed, and the signed copy lands on the client’s record.
Can Parlor schedule rooms?
No. Parlor books people: each therapist has their own calendar and hours. If two therapists share one room, Parlor won’t stop them both being booked into it at the same time.
How do packages work?
Sell a set number of sessions at one price, choose which services it covers, and set an expiry if you want one. Sessions are redeemed at checkout and the count sits on the client’s record.
Can I sell memberships?
Yes, monthly. A membership gives a set number of credits a month across the services you choose, or a standing discount. It bills itself through Stripe.
Where do signed forms and notes live?
On the client’s record, with the date and time each form was signed. Your team sees them there. Parlor isn’t built for medical records or insurance billing.
Do clients get a text reminder?
Not yet. Confirmations and the day-before reminder go by email. Text reminders are activating as carrier registration completes.
Do you take a cut of new clients?
No. Parlor isn’t a marketplace: there’s no commission on a new client, no booking fee added to the client’s bill, and no listing that shows them the shop next door.
What does it cost?
$79 a month for every therapist. If you take cards through Parlor, payments carry our standard rate, currently 3.25% + 35¢, card processing included. Payments are optional: keep your own terminal and the rate never applies.
