Release notes. Here’s what’s changed.

What’s new and what’s fixed in Parlor, newest first.

Step-by-step guides are in the Learning Center.

Oct 24, 2026

A booking no longer shows as paid when only its deposit was collected.

A deposit that is reported twice can no longer mark an appointment paid while the balance is still owed, and a chargeback escalation alerts the owner once.

Oct 19, 2026

Parlor now warns you when you book a service on a day it is not offered.

Staff bookings outside a service's days need an owner or admin to approve them. The text opt-in on the booking page and waitlist form names Lunar Engineering as the sender, and a time that is no longer open now says it is no longer available.

Oct 14, 2026

Studios on the free trial get an email three days before it ends.

The trial-ending email now reaches studios that started the trial without a card. The Questions line in the sign-in email also gives the right support address.

Oct 10, 2026

The text message opt-in on your booking page now uses Parlor's registered wording.

Clients who book or join your waitlist see one text opt-in for appointment messages, with the Terms and Privacy links beneath it. The marketing text box is gone.

Oct 9, 2026

Reports has a Transactions tab that lists every money movement in your studio.

Download the ledger as a CSV for your bookkeeper, ask the new Help chat a question from inside Parlor, and read the Check your email step on the sign-in page without trouble.

Oct 3, 2026

Each service can have its own online booking days and times.

Set the minimum notice, how far ahead clients can book, and per-service booking hours, and track commissions, booth rent and tips by team member.

Oct 2, 2026

Clients can start a booking by picking a provider or a time.

The booking page starts wherever the client wants, client records keep dated notes and formulas, clients set their own email preferences, and you can ask for a Google review after a visit.

Sep 26, 2026

Canceling inside the late window shows the fee before it’s charged.

Late cancels ask first, gift cards and package credits can’t be spent twice, the client list loads page by page, and clients who chose texts get their reminder by email.

Sep 25, 2026

A new studio can skip setup steps and come back to them.

Signing up asks only what’s required, owners accept the Terms of Service in the app, and the booking page separates the optional checkboxes from the required ones.

Sep 23, 2026

Checkout puts the ticket and the register on one screen.

Today lists the day’s appointments, sales tax splits into a service rate and a product rate, grooming studios can keep pet and vaccination records, and the form editor and gift cards page were rebuilt.
