Checkout puts the ticket and the register on one screen.
Checkout
Checkout and walk-in sales show the ticket on the left and the register on the right: Add a tip, Credits, Pay with (Payment link or Charge on reader), Balance due, then Charge. If you’ve paired a card reader, it’s picked for you.
When a client pays by payment link, checkout moves to paid on its own. It used to take a reload.
Today
The Today screen lists the day’s appointments under Up next, Done and No-show instead of the metric tiles. Switch between All staff and Just me; providers start on Just me. Each row has Checkout and Done. The numbers are still on Reports.
Settings
Sales tax in Settings → Payments has a Service tax rate and a Product tax rate. A change applies to new sales only, and gift cards, packages and fees are never taxed. Your old single rate became the product rate; the service rate starts at 0%.
Clients
Grooming studios can keep a profile for each pet. Turn on Pet profiles (grooming) in Settings → Studio → Grooming, choose the Required vaccines (rabies always is), and choose what happens at booking when a record is missing: warn on the appointment, or block the booking until it’s on file. Each client gets a Pets tab, and the pet’s name shows on the calendar, Today and checkout. The steps are in Pets and vaccination records.
Forms
The form editor has three tabs: Document, Questions and Settings. Questions can be short text, long text, yes/no, a date or a number, and you attach a form to services under Settings. See Build a consent or intake form.
Gift cards
The gift cards page is laid out for the front desk: Check a card looks one up from its pasted code, the link clients buy at has a Copy button, Outstanding liability comes first, and the list has All, Active, Redeemed and Voided tabs. Each card says where it came from: In person, Online or Comp. See Sell and redeem gift cards.
Team
When you add a teammate, Bookable replaces “Takes a chair”.
Fixes
Gift cards sold at the counter count as sold, not comped.
A refund made in Parlor sent the client two receipts. It sends one.
A confirmed visit whose time had passed couldn’t be rescheduled. It can.
Searching clients for a phone number typed with punctuation, like (404) 555-0101, finds them.
Some question types in the form editor didn’t save, and the client’s signing page showed the wrong inputs for long answers and checkboxes.
