Clients can start a booking by picking a provider or a time.
Booking page
Clients choose how to start under Start with: Service, Provider or Time. Provider is hidden when only one person takes bookings. Starting with a time offers Morning, Afternoon and Evening, and a service that won’t fit the chosen time is greyed out with the reason.
The time list offered same-day times that booking then refused for being too soon. It doesn’t offer them anymore.
Clients
The client record has a pinned Summary and, below it, Notes & formulas: dated entries you save as a Note or a Formula, optionally tied to one of the client’s visits, with an All / Formulas filter. An entry can’t be edited once saved; delete it and add a new one. Spas and pet groomers see the same list as Notes, without formulas.
Reminder, booking update and review request emails carry a Manage email preferences link. It opens a page where the client turns each kind of message on or off without signing in. On the client record, the Communications card shows what the client has turned off and a Preference history. Turning something back on that the client turned off asks you to confirm first. Opt-outs from before were kept.
Review requests
Review requests in Settings → Studio asks clients for a Google review by email after their visit. Paste Your Google review link, check it with Test link, then turn on Ask clients for a Google review after their visit. The email, “How was your visit to …?”, goes once when an appointment is marked completed, to clients who agreed to email, and not again to the same client for 30 days unless you change Don’t ask the same client again for. It’s off until you turn it on.
Checkout
A payment link that hasn’t been paid stays on the register after a reload, on another device, and for anyone else at the desk, with Open payment page, Copy link and Cancel payment link. When the client pays, the register moves to the receipt.
A canceled or expired payment link says so and asks you to create a new one. It used to show as “Card declined”.
Selling a package, starting a membership and paying for your Parlor plan open the card form inside Parlor instead of on a separate Stripe page. So does the page clients buy gift cards from.
Signing in
The sign-in email’s 6-digit code can be typed into 6-digit email code and confirmed with Sign in with code instead of opening the link. See Sign in and passkeys.
Signing in with a passkey that was removed says what to do: email yourself a link, then add a new passkey in Settings → Account. It used to show “Request failed with status code 422”.
Forms
Yes/no questions on the signing page are Yes and No choices. Before, a required yes/no question couldn’t be answered “No”. Completed forms and signed-document downloads say Yes and No instead of “true” and “false”.
In Start from a template, a template you’ve already added shows Added and opens your form.
Save changes in the form editor stays off until something has changed. It used to publish an identical new version.
